Terms of Use
The Homeostasis Journal · Last updated October 20, 2026
DRAFT for Brenny and a lawyer to review before launch. Items in parentheses are still to be decided.
These terms are an agreement between you and Brenny & LLC ("we," "us"), the maker of The Homeostasis Journal ("the journal"). By buying or using the journal, you agree to them.
The journal
The Homeostasis Journal is a digital journal for self-reflection and daily planning, used in a web browser on a computer or tablet (a current version of Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox). The 2027 Edition gives you access to the journal's pages for the calendar year 2027 (and the weeks before January 1, 2027, from the day you buy it). (Access to your past entries after the year ends: to be decided before launch.)
A note about care
The journal supports your well-being. It is not medical, psychological, or psychiatric care, and it does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Its reflections, check-ins, and patterns are for your own insight and are not clinical assessments. Please use it together with care from qualified professionals.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, in the United States), visit 988lifeline.org, or find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. In an emergency, call 911.
Buying the journal
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices are shown on this website before you buy, and sales tax is added where it applies.
A gift purchase gives the person you choose a code to begin their own journal.
Refunds
If something in the journal isn't working for you, please write to support@myhomeostasisjournal.com first. Most problems can be solved quickly.
You may ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, either by writing to us or through Paddle at paddle.net. When a refund is issued, access to the journal ends. This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
Your account and your entries
- The journal is for one person. Please keep your sign-in private.
- Your entries belong to you. You give us only the permission needed to store and show them back to you.
- Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Printing a page is one way to keep it.
Google Calendar and the helper
Connecting Google Calendar is optional and is described in the Privacy Policy. The journal adds an event to your calendar only after you confirm it. The helper ("Ask for help") answers questions about using the journal. Its answers are written by an artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes, and it does not give medical, legal, or financial advice.

The journal's design, pages, writing, narration, recordings, film, logos, and the Process, Balance, Flow model are owned by Brenny & LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use them for your own personal journaling, including printing your own pages. Please do not copy, resell, share access to, or republish the journal or its content.
Acceptable use
Please use the journal lawfully, and do not try to break its security, overload it, or reach other people's entries.
Changes to the journal
We improve the journal over time and may change or add features. If a change takes away something important you paid for, we will tell you and offer a fair remedy.
